The new Šiauliai County Police Headquarters is a modern administrative and training facility designed to embody the core values of the Lithuanian Police – respect, reliability, transparency, and security. The architectural concept prioritizes clear spatial organization, functional efficiency, and a human-centered environment to foster motivation, professionalism, and public trust.

Situated on Purienų Street, in the industrial northern part of Šiauliai, the complex integrates harmoniously into the urban fabric. The design forms a strong perimeter along the street, connecting the new and existing police buildings into a coherent urban composition. The campus layout divides the territory into distinct zones for visitors, staff, and operational vehicles, ensuring smooth traffic flow and enhanced security.

Architecturally, the complex is defined by rational, structured volumes with minimalist expression. Façades feature a restrained rhythm of openings and durable, low-maintenance materials such as vertical corrugated metal cladding and sandwich panels. Special attention is given to natural light, acoustic comfort, and accessibility, creating an efficient yet welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.

The new headquarters includes administrative spaces, training areas, investigation units, public reception zones, a cafeteria, and a large sports center designed for physical training and professional development. Landscaped green areas and a new urban park are integrated into the site, enhancing the quality of the surrounding industrial district and offering spaces for rest and recreation.

By focusing on clear architectural language, sustainability principles, and strong functional planning, the Šiauliai Police Headquarters sets a new benchmark for civic architecture in Lithuania.
