The ongoing reconstruction of the former Lelija manufacturing complex marks a significant urban transformation, breathing new life into several industrial structures. Managed by 2L Architects with architectural vision from Do Architects and A2SM, the project converts legacy production buildings into a vibrant mix of administrative and co-living spaces. While the massive scale of the original industrial blocks is preserved, their identity is enhanced through modern insulation solutions and refined materiality. Large-scale glazing and floor-to-ceiling openings on the ground floors foster transparency, seamlessly connecting the interiors with the surrounding urban fabric of the Naujamiestis district.

2L Architects serves as the cornerstone of the technical realization for the Lelija complex, acting as the project manager to synchronize the diverse visions of the design teams. Beyond administrative oversight, our engineering department is responsible for the intricate structural reinforcements required to adapt the heavy industrial frames for modern co-living and office loads. We have integrated high-efficiency HVAC and water management systems that meet contemporary standards without compromising the site's raw aesthetic.
