Situated on an expansive 8.6-acre site within the Šiauliai Free Economic Zone, the new 9,500 square meter factory for Bär Cargolifts sets a high standard for energy efficiency, achieving an A++ rating and utilizing a specialized heating system that consumes less than 15 kWh of energy per square meter annually. Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability, Bär Cargolift has pledged to source all electricity from renewable sources, a significant portion of which is generated by a substantial 185 kW rooftop solar panel system. This ambitious project was brought to fruition with remarkable speed, securing a construction permit within just seven months of the contract signing with the Šiauliai Free Economic Zone and achieving full completion in a mere fourteen months.
