The design for Hesburgers' new food factory near Kaunas embodies a deep commitment to sustainable practices. A highly efficient two-megawatt refrigeration system utilizing carbon dioxide, recognized as an environmentally friendly refrigerant, has been selected. Innovative heat recovery technology captures heat generated by the coolers for use in other processes within the facility. Moreover, energy efficiency was a guiding principle throughout the design phase, enhanced by the Dalux app which facilitated seamless collaboration and clash detection among engineering teams. This project showcases our dedication to delivering environmentally responsible and technologically advanced industrial solutions. This significant 15-million-euro investment underscores Hesburger's commitment to ensuring a consistent supply of their signature products, including mayonnaise. This strategic move marks Hesburger's first sauce production facility outside of Finland, highlighting their continued growth and expansion in the Baltic region. The architectural design will reflect a modern industrial aesthetic while incorporating efficient logistics flow and sustainable building practices.
