In partnership with Darnu Group, we are developing the new flagship logistics center for Rimi Lietuva, the largest logistics facility for the retailer across the Baltics. Built under a "built-to-suit" model, the 40,000 m² future-ready complex is strategically located next to the A1 highway near Elektrėnai, with an investment exceeding €60 million.
The facility’s design focuses on innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being. It will include expansive storage halls, cutting-edge refrigeration chambers, a large-scale kitchen (one of the largest in the Baltics), and modern office spaces. A major feature is the integration of advanced green energy solutions, such as a rooftop solar power plant generating 800–1000 MWh annually and a waste-heat recovery system for building heating.
Certified under the BREEAM sustainability standards, the center will leverage smart technologies, including a full BMS (Building Management System) for remote monitoring and control of lighting, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and energy usage.
Upon completion, the logistics hub will create around 800 jobs, fostering regional development beyond Lithuania’s major cities. Designed to ensure operational efficiency and a high-quality working environment, the project sets a new benchmark for sustainable logistics infrastructure in the Baltic region.
